Children's and youth work at St James
As you are all aware, COVID-19 forced us to stop doing face-to-face Children's Church, youth group, holiday club, Messy Church, Mango Jams and family services over the past 18 months. Now that the summer term is over and we are thinking about the next school year it seems a good time to take stock of what children's and youth work the church did before, what we've been doing during the pandemic and how best to serve the children and young people in our community in the future.

The survey can be filled in be parents or young people (or together). However, at the end there is an optional field to add your email address if you would like to be kept informed of what will happen next; please do not share any contact details if you are under 18.

Please fill in the survey by 15th August so we can plan our work in September based on your responses. Thank you for your help.

What other ideas do you have? What makes church real for you? What puts you off going to church services?
Would young people or children in your household be interested in helping in church or wider activities in the community? (Please tick any that apply; all volunteering would be age-appropriate, within our safeguarding policies and have appropriate equipment and supervision)
If we need to still meet virtually from September would you be interested in either regular or occasional Zoom meetings, YouTube videos or Livestreams - or something else? Please comment below with your ideas.
Do you have any other comments about youth and children's work at St James?
If you are 18 or over and would like to be kept informed of our plans for children and youth work please share your email address (optional)
