Music therapy targets non-musical goals in the areas of language, social skills, sensory, motor and cognition. Music therapy has been proven to be beneficial for clients with various diagnosis as well as with clients of all ages. Currently in the state of North Carolina, Music Therapy does not have licensure. Which in short means insurance cannot be billed and is therefore private pay for clients. This scholarship allows the awarded applicants an opportunity to see the benefits of music therapy.

There will be 4 Scholarships Awarded and each scholarship is 50% coverage for 6 months of services. You will be contacted within 2 weeks of application. You must commit to attending for the 6 month period.
