We work every day of the week, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with lunch onsite from 12-12:30 (pack a bag lunch!). Please let us know if you cannot attend the entire day. If you would like to or need to attend outside of these hours, we may be able to work with you - feel free to send us an email at volunteer@communityrebuilds.org.
We will provide all tools and training you'll need for whatever we're working on. We can also provide safety equipment (earplugs, safety glasses, hardhats) for those who need to borrow. Make sure you dress for the job site - wear closed toe shoes, work clothes you don't mind getting dirty (we like playing in the dirt!), and bring plenty of water. Look at the weather report ahead of time and dress accordingly; most of our work is outdoor and in all weather.
When you arrive on site our build staff will direct you to review and sign our volunteer waiver. If you have volunteered with Community Rebuilds within the last calendar year you do not need to sign another waiver until next year.
We allow minors onsite whenever it is safe to do so; if you or any members of your group are under 18 please let us know during the registration process. There is a separate waiver for any volunteers under the age of 18.
