The 50th Independence Secretariat and the Government of The Bahamas wishes to advise that the official 50th Independence Logo, Theme and Pattern are for official use only.

The logo, theme and pattern are to be used for official events and activities as planned and executed by the 50th Independence Secretariat and the respective
Family Island Committees and Foreign Missions.

Government Use

All government ministries and agencies may request use of the logo, theme and pattern for operational use (letterheads, email footers etc.), event decor (banners, linens, displays, signage etc.) and any special uniforms or commemorative paraphernalia. The vetted and approved design must be used for official use and not wholesale or retail sales. The logo may only be used for awards and certificates as vetted and approved by the 50th Honours Committee to ensure there is clear distinction between the proposed award and the 50th national awards and honors to be presented.

Endorsed Events

All persons who may wish to use the 50th logo for an approved endorsed event, will be provided with a uniquely designed ‘Endorsed’ version of the logo for placement. By providing this logo, the Independence Secretariat has agreed that this event or activity as presented meets the necessary requirements. This endorsement in no way holds the 50th Independence Secretariat or the Government of The Bahamas
liable for any loss or damage incurred as it relates to the attendance or support of the related activity or event.

Profitable Commercial Use

To maintain the integrity of the design as created, the logo, theme and pattern may be requested for-profit use on a case by case basis. All vendors must request via the celebrate-bahamas.com website the necessary
approval to use the official logo, theme and print as requested and agreed. The Government of The Bahamas and the Independence Secretariat encourages all Bahamians to showcase their creativity with their signature designs, unique
concepts and original merchandise, paraphernalia and products.



Non-Profitable Commercial Use

All licensed and tax compliant businesses may request use of the logo, theme and pattern for any special uniforms or commemorative paraphernalia. NGO Use

retail sales. The logo may only be used for awards and certificates as vetted and approved by the 50th Honours Committee to ensure there is clear distinction between the proposed award and the 50th national awards and honors to be presented.

THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF INDEPENDENCE LOGO,THEME AND PRINT IS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE COMMISSION AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE BAHAMAS.
