2023-2024 After School Care Registration for students in K4-10th grade
After School Care will be offered for students in K4-10th grade. Aftercare is solely intended to be a service for families that have no other means of picking up their child(ren) by 3:30. Students may loose the ability to come to aftercare depending on their behavior.
Charges for aftercare will be $3.75 per hour. All charges are dependent on the time your child arrives at the time they are signed out and picked up. Aftercare bills will be sent via FACTS at the beginning of each month. If your payment is not received within a week of the bill being sent, your child will not be allowed to attend Aftercare until payment is received and you will be responsible for picking up your child before 3:30 pm. A $35 fee registration (per child) will be charged to your FACTS account in order for your child(ren) to be considered registered for Aftercare.
Aftercare will conclude promptly at 5:30 p.m. Any child picked up after 5:30 p.m, will incur a $5.00 late charge every minute until the child is picked up. (According to school time) NO child may leave without an approved person signing them out. Only persons approved to pick up your child will be allowed to sign them out. You are responsible for updating this list in writing as often as necessary. Please use the aftercare Google voice phone number in the event you need to speak to aftercare personnel.
On nice days, they will be on the playground. On rainy days, they will be in the gym or classroom. PLEASE send a snack with your child when they are staying in aftercare. Students may purchase a snack from the vending machine if they have cash.
We will also be asking that parents let us know if they will be using aftercare each week so we can properly secure staffing. When school starts, we will use a Google Form (similar to this one) for parents to communicate with us their weekly aftercare needs.
There will be no aftercare when school is closed for holidays or on half-days. We are looking forward to a great school year.
