BCC - Pig Pen Submission
Thank you for submitting your show to the BCC's second stage - The Pig Pen - at 144 Boerum St, Brooklyn just a 2-min walk from our main theater Eris in East Williamsburg.

The BCC showcases fearless and irreverent live comedy with a strong point of view. We celebrate bold, risk-taking shows and strive to foster and promote the Brooklyn comedy community by creating a welcome space for artistic experimentation.

The Pig Pen is a cozy space. The space features a half-moon stage roughly 11' feet wide by 8 feet deep, and the house can fit around 60 audience members (40 seats and the rest as standing room).

There is full tech (audio and projector/video capabilities) but we do not offer a staffed tech for this space. You are welcome to control it yourself internally in your show.

There are our current open slots at the Pig Pen.

-Friday @ 8:30 PM:  $10 Ticket Price
-Saturday @ 8:30 PM: $10 Ticket Price
-Random other 7:00 PM or 8:30 PM on Monday-Sunday nights as available (working around our classes and class shows) - $10 ticket price.

The Fine Print:
--All slots are 60 minutes each with a max run-time of 75 minutes.
-The BCC provides online ticketing with check in at the door, as well as credit card and cash sales at the door.
-There is no alcohol whatsoever allowed in the space. We have non-alcoholic drinks and snacks available for purchase.
-The Pig Pen can admit up to 60 people (40 seated + 20 standing room)
-All shows are 18+ at Eris.
-There are unlimited comp tickets for industry, and 5 personal comps for the cast to use per show.
-Students enrolled in six-week core classes at The BCC get into all shows free on a standby basis.

Payout:
- Producers at the BCC earn a percentage of the box office, which can then be passed along to your cast members/performers at your own discretion.
- Producer gets 60% of box office after the first $75 in ticket sales. BCC uses that $75 to compensate staff.
-We will pay you within three weeks of your show. Sold-out shows make $300+.
-If you produce a show that sells less than $50 in ticket sales, you are responsible for paying the rest of that balance to the BCC either in cash, venmo, or paypal. BCC uses that first $75 in ticket sales to help cover cost of staff, so it's imperative that this goal is met.

All submission are reviewed by Maya Sharma (Associate Director). If we decide to produce your show, it may take us up to two months to get back to you, as we are typically programmed one month in advance. Anyone is welcome to submit, though we prioritize submissions from students in our classes or performers in existing shows, and shows that we feel would be a good match for our audience and tone of the theater.
