Over the past several years, USCIS’s policies for review of N648 applications for medical exemption from the naturalization English/Civics exams have become much more strict.  Additionally, reports from the field say that there is inconsistency across USCIS officers and geographic locations in reviewing these applications. This causes confusion for practitioners about how to draft the applications for the greatest chance of acceptance.  This webinar discusses best practices compiled from practitioners’ experiences in working with doctors, speaking with USCIS agents, and responding to USCIS decisions regarding N648s to increase the rate of success.
