Solar Building Competition Sign Up Form
This form indicates interest in participating in the Solar Building Competition for students. In this competition, teams will compete against each other live to build a solar powered device which achieves the competition goals. For more details, check out our Info Session Slides and Info Session Zoom Recording. 

The competition will be held on May 21st at the SWVA Solar Summit on UVA Wise campus. Specific time to be determined based on availability. Teams are expected to be between 3-5 students. Participation is free to all and will include a free meal for participants during the event. The top teams will take home cash prizes and trophies! Additional prizes may be awarded as available. 

While the competition is geared towards High School students, younger students are welcome to compete. 

Registration required by May 16, 2025 to ensure all materials are available on-site for each team. Participants are also encouraged to officially register for the Summit
