New Library Study Committee
Neither the Rathbun nor the EHFPL are ADA compliant, nor are renovations feasible. The committee therefore recommends construction of a new library at a site to be determined. 

The charming, historical character of both buildings is considerable. Unfortunately, in addition to the issue of access, neither meets the standards of a 21st century library. A new building would offer designated areas for various uses.
