CUNTOPIA Application

Welcome to Cuntopia where we cultivate queer, neurodivergent and womb-holding leaders to move us towards societal and leadership practices based in Cyclical Living to dismantle oppressive systems from our minds, bodies and spirits - so we can pass this on to our students, clients and employees.

Cyclical living is the practice of mapping our businesses, spiritual practices, instruction and leadership around the natural cycles and forces of nature- Solar, Lunar, Menstrual + internal Infradian - so that we live equitably with nature, rather than trying to control it for our desired outcomes.

We are working to build a non-hierarchal system in everything from the leadership and pricing models so that we can create a movement and annual gathering and event where leaders connect in an intimate setting in the beautiful Costa Rican jungle alongside the Machuca River. We work together not just to dismantle oppressive systems, but we problem solve on how we actually implement equitable and cyclical living systems into our jobs, businesses and leadership style.

*Only a handful of 2023 attendees paid full price and we aim to maintain the practice of getting the right people to the Summit rather than the wealthy people. To make it a more sustainable model, we plan to crowdfund the difference of financial funds to ensure the right people who bring the value our community needs are there regardless of finances. Our goal is to gather resources as a collective to make this possible.

WHAT PRICING TIER ARE YOU COMMITTING TO?

PRICING MODEL WORDING, DESCRIPTIONS + CONCEPTS BY SIMONE GRACE SOUL - amazing marketing coach and entrepreneur working in ethical coaching certification + marketing

Source: https://www.simonegraceseol.com/come-home#home-pricing-tiers

Scaled pricing: Please be mindful that if you opt into a lower price when you can truthfully afford a higher price, you are limiting access to those who truly need the gift of financial flexibility. If opting into this Summit means making short-term sacrifices, having to get creative, or asking others for financial support, but does not actually jeopardize your safety, we ask that you use those resources before using the sliding scale, which will limit opportunities for others.

You being honest about your financial situation helps us to grow a healthy and sustainable community.

Remember that as a collective, our ability to hold this event will depend on our collective commitment to securing the necessary resources to make it possible.

Between 33 people, we have more than enough access to, or ability to collectively raise $1,444 per person to make this Summit possible and sustainable. If you have never done crowd-funding before, we will hold CUNTAINER calls to help provide resources and training on how to get your networks to financially support your dream to be a part of CUNTOPIA <3

Your application is due by November 10, you will be notified by November 12 if you are accepted, and if you committed to a paying option, a deposit of your first payment is due by November 15, otherwise your spot may be given to the next round of applicants.

Once everyone has committed and confirmed, we will calculate the total number of resources we have, and what more needs to be fundraised with the training on crowd funding as a collective.

Grapefruit plan (3 payments of $666) $2,000 total

I will pay my share and pay it forward and help group fundraising efforts

If you have access to financial security, own property, or have personal savings; if you are able to pay for "wants" and spend little time worrying about securing necessities in your life; if you have economic privilege and power in our community, this price is for you. By choosing this price, you are “paying it forward” and contributing to a more equitable world by supporting access for those with less.

Jackfruit plan (3 payments of $482) $1,444 total

I will pay my full share and help group fundraising efforts

You may be paying off debt or working to build savings, but you also have access to steady income. You do NOT spend most of your time thinking about meeting basic needs such as food, shelter, medical care, child care, etc. Making this investment might mean you might have to cut back on some discretionary spending in your life (such as going out to dinner, buying coffee, buying a new outfit, or going on vacation), but the sacrifice is short-term, and will not harm you in the long term.

Papaya plan (3 payments of $333) $999 total

I will pay at a $400 discount and help group fundraising efforts

You have access to basic needs such as food, housing, and childcare, though sometimes it may feel difficult. You are able to put away money each month to save up to be able to pay for the Summit, but the middle tier price would mean that you have to save for longer than 3 months.

Pineapple plan (3 payments of $185) $555 total

I will pay at a $900 discount and help group fundraising efforts

This is for whom even the lowest tier price is truly prohibitive. You have access to basic needs, but are living paycheck to paycheck and the Jackfruit plan would require you to save for longer than 6 months.

Golden berry plan (2 payments of $111) $222 total

I will pay at a $1,200 discount and help group fundraising efforts

This is for whom even the lowest tier price is truly prohibitive. You have access to basic needs, but are living paycheck to paycheck and the Jackfruit plan would require you to save for longer than one year.

Strawberry plan $0 total

I will help with group fundraising efforts

If you are an activist or a nonprofit worker who has spent the majority of their work life dedicated to a cause or movement for which they are either NOT paid or severely underpaid, which they have NO intention of turning into a for-profit business. Business owners are INELIGIBLE.

Blueberry plan $0 total + collective funds your plane ticket to event

I will help with group fundraising efforts

This pricing is ONLY for nonprofit workers and “activists.” Let us clarify exactly how we’re defining that. Nonprofit worker: Someone who is employed at a 501(c)3 organization (or equivalent in non-US countries).

Activist: Someone who spends most of their working time on DELIVERING SOCIAL SERVICES, ORGANIZING and/or working at the STRUCTURAL level, and are financially under-resourced as a result.

This explicitly DISQUALIFIES anyone who has ANY kind of business. If you take money in exchange for goods or services, you have a business. As it follows, anyone with a coaching business is DISQUALIFIED. Anyone who takes clients 1:1 to do any kind of healing or self-development work is DISQUALIFIED.

You are also DISQUALIFIED from this pricing if you are an activist or nonprofit worker, but have access to other forms of financial or social capital (e.g. a well-paying job, family or spousal support, class privilege, or the ability to borrow money without excess risk) that enables you to join at a higher tier with perhaps some short-term sacrifices but no long-term harm.

Having a business with an “activist mission” — while incredible — is NOT the same as: “I spend most of my days organizing marches / delivering food to the unhoused.”

The activist + nonprofit worker tier was created for folks doing THAT work full time. If that is NOT you, this pricing is NOT for you.

Honor systems are a fragile thing. Thank you in advance for helping to make this project work.
