Lamar Community College Fall 2024 Cohort      Kaplan Nursing Admission Exam 
This form alone does NOT mean you've signed up for the Admission Exam. It is a two-step process: Kaplan website and this form. 

Students must first go to the Kaplan website https://www.kaptest.com/nclex/partner/lamar-community-college to sign up and pay for the exam. 
Submitting this form alone will not schedule you for the exam. 
Reponses received without registration on the Kaplan website will be voided and the testing spot vacated for others to use. 

After that, use this form to choose a date/time to test. Email confirmation will be sent within 48 hours of submitting this form, that you've been added to the testing date requested. 

By completing this form you agree to the following: 
  • Rescheduling: Do not use this form to 'reschedule'.  Students wishing to reschedule their exam may do so through emailing nursing @lamarcc. edu  (no spaces) with at least 24 hours notice to the testing session. Contents of the email should include- first and last name, S#, originally scheduled date/time and new requested date/time. Requests with less than 24 hours may not be honored and will default to the no show policy below. 
  • No show policy: students who do not show up for their scheduled testing session will forfeit their opportunity for a repeat exam and will only be permitted to take the exam once. 
  • Late Arrivals: No students will be permitted to begin testing after the start time, at the expense of the student. Students should arrive 10 minutes prior to their start time. 
  • Repeat Testing: Lamar Community College does allow students an additional attempt to better their score on the Admission Exam. The second attempt is scheduled and paid for through the same above link, choosing the "repeat" option and then completing this form again. There is a waiting period of at least 14 days between exams.

Late entries are not permitted, at the expense of the testing student. 
Testing windows are set for 3 hours, although students may finish sooner than that. 
Testing occurs in Betz building. Meet at the northeast corner of the building, by the Welcome Desk.
