The rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus in such a short time has caused a level of disruption in our daily lives that few of us could have imagined even just days ago. This crisis is driving urgent and unexpected needs in our communities all throughout Green County as many face financial uncertainty stemming from efforts to contain the virus. As the COVID-19 crisis ramps up, the United Way is working to help as much as we can. Please know that we are here for you! To help combat this uncertainty and provide community-based resources to those in need United Way of Green County has established a United Way of Green County COVID-19 Community Response Fund. This Fund was created for the sole purpose of addressing the needs of our community that arise as a result of the COVID-19 emergency in Green County. The Fund is designed to expand local capacity to address all aspects of the outbreak’s effect on Green County and to do so as collaboratively and efficiently as possible. The goal of this fund is to provide resources to organizations in Green County who are working to serve those impacted by COVID-19 and to address the economic consequences of this outbreak. Increasing the resources available to these organizations will allow greater services to more people all throughout Green County.
