Your silver bike service will include:Checking frame and other core components for wear and damage.Checking wheels are true and hubs, spokes,rims and tyres for damage.Alignment of brakes and checking operation and effectivenessLubricating chain and checking for wear.Inspecting brake pads for wear and damage.Setting gear stops and adjustment of indexing.Checking front chainrings, rear freewheel/cassette for wear.Inspecting bottom bracket for play and adjustment.Checking alignment and wear of front and rear gear mechanisms.Checking bearings, crank bolts and pedals for wear and damage. Full valet of bike. /// Gold bike service £90* Includes all the work carried out in a Silver Service plus: Wheels Frame threads checked and cleaned, frame and disc mounts faced if required.Remove and inspect wheels for damage to hubs, bearings, spokes, rims and tyres.Remove both axles, degrease and inspect bearings.Remove cassette and inspect freehub (if fitted) for signs of wear.Lubricate and rebuild both wheel bearing assemblies.Chains and Gears Inspect bottom brackets; if loose type strip clean, lube and adjust/if sealed type and play is present replace at cost.Forks Headset removed, cleaned, re-greased if applicable, refitted and checked for movement. Note that costs are for labour only and do not include parts which will be quoted separately.

We can pick up your bike for servicing or repair and deliver back to you for £10 if you live in the Angus or Dundee area. Staff will contact you to arrange a suitable date and time.

Please supply the make and model eg. Carrera Hellcat Black, Specialized Hot Rock Red, Giant Defy Blue, Apollo Kids Bike, blue - Dont worry if you are unsure, this just helps us identify your bicycle.

Terms & Conditions for Angus Cycle Hub CIC (ACH) trading as Dundee Cycle Hub: By completing the above and submitting the information the customer agrees to these terms and conditions and for ACH to quote for the repair of the above bicycle/s and any repair work to be completed and agrees to pay for any labour and parts incurred by ACH to complete the work should the customer want to go ahead with the costs provided by ACH. ACH will thoroughly check the bike in the workshop once received and immediately contact the customer and advise of any additional costs if more work and parts are needed to complete the work, or make the bike safe. It will be at the discretion of the customer if they would like to go ahead with any additional work as recommended by ACH. ACH can not be held responsible for delays in returning bikes due to the customer not confirming to go ahead with any additional work, shipping times/delays from suppliers. ACH will store the bikes until such a time that the work required has been completed. The customer agrees that ACH will store the bikes for 2 weeks free of charge after the customer has been notified that the bike is ready for collection. The customer agrees to collect the bike within this 2 week period. Bikes left at ACH after this 2 week period will be subject to a storage charge of £5 per week until collected. If bikes remain uncollected ACH reserve the right to dispose of the bikes/sell them on 2 months after the completed date to recoup any unpaid labour/parts/storage charges.
