Palestrantes: Pedro Garcia Duarte (INSPER Institute of Education and Research, Brazil) e Jimena Hurtado (Universidad de los Andes, Colombia) - Pedro Duarte is a Senior Research Fellow at Insper and a professor away from USP. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (1998), a Master's in Economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2001) and a PhD in Economics from Duke University (2007). Since June 2018, Pedro has been co-editor of the Journal of the History of Economic Thought, edited by the History of Economics Society and published by Cambridge University Press. Jimena Hurtado is associate professor of the Economics Department at Universidad de los Andes and received her PhD in Economics from the Université Paris X, Nanterre. Her main areas of interest are economic philosophy and the history of economic thought, especially the works of Adam Smith and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Jimena is currently the co-editor of the Journal of the History Economic Thought, edited by the History of Economics Society and published by Cambridge University Press.
