Join UCC Translational Medicine Society on Monday the 15th at 7pm for their "First Aid with Louise Dennison O'Shaughnessy" event.

The society are working with Louise Dennison O'Shaughnessy who is a First Aid & Advanced Mental Health Instructor and Emergency Medical Technician. She will run a Community First responder and First Aid responder course which are both certified by PHECC. Doing a combination of the two (although students will not be PHECC certified specifically CPR after attending due to it being online) so students will be able to learn the theory and practical elements of CPR, common CVD and medical emergencies. It also will equip individuals on how to help until those more qualified arise.
