Each year, the STEAMz conference is built around a theme. This year's theme--
Local Engagement, Global Impact
--is focused on the ability to affect change on a local level that can then make ripple effects outside of our communities. Whether it's developing a new app that can change how a community functions, creating a piece of art that tells a story and bridges a divide, or participating in research that asks important questions leading to new developments and new ways of thinking, students have the ability to use their voice and skills to make meaningful impact within the Schoolcraft community and the local southeastern Michigan region.
