Crafts at the Kiln Month of Makers Vendor Application
After racking our brains to come up with a unique, fun and most importantly, SAFE in-person event for Crafts at the Kiln this summer, we are creating our first ever "Month of Makers".
Every weekend in August, beginning on Friday, July 30th, and ending on Sunday, August 29th:
Fridays 6-9pm (with live music)
Saturdays 12-4pm
Sundays 1-4pm (with live music)
Civic Holiday Monday (August 2nd) 1-4pm
Burning Kiln Winery
1709 Front Rd.
Norfolk County, Ontario
This is a juried event open to HANDMADE artists who love Norfolk County. Shops selling handmade items are also encouraged to apply. One to two makers will be set up at the winery during every weekend in August (and the Civic Holiday weekend at the end of July). ALL Covid protocols Burning Kiln has implemented will be strictly in place, and capacity will be following the provincial standards. These weekly events will take place rain or shine, as all vendors will be outdoors with a covered roof, where wine tastings will also be taking place. Vendors must supply their own tables. There will also be an online component on our website to allow out of town shoppers to participate. This will include a bio about the maker, products images and a link to their shop.
We will be looking for the following:
- High quality, original handmade work
- Crisp, clear photos of your work on your social media channels
- Enthusiasm to participate in an event celebrating our local culture and fellow artists
- Social media presence to help us promote the event
