Girls Rock Birmingham Camp Mentor Application 2024
A limited number of Girls Rock Birmingham Camp mentorships are open to all cis girls, and trans and nonbinary folks ages 17-21 who have some previous musical experience. Mentors will act as guides for the campers and assistants to our instrument teachers and band coaches. Mentors will form their own band, write an original song, and perform it at the showcase as well! You must be able to be present for ALL of camp plus the showcase to be considered for a position. There will be a few meetings before camp week as well, but we will do our best to accommodate everyone's schedules when planning those.

Availability for Camp and Showcase *
During camp, your band and the bands you mentor will work toward the performance of an original song at the showcase on Saturday. For all of our rockers to have the best experience, it is vital for you to participate in both the camp AND the showcase with your bandmates. Please select what parts of camp you are available for. Preference will be given to mentors who can attend all of camp and the showcase. We will also hold meetings outside of camp, but will do our best to accommodate everyone's schedules for those.
