The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) is offering a nine-week, 27-hour, hands-on, hybrid Doula training and certification program in partnership with Masters of Maternity (MOM), beginning fall 2023 at Braddock Hills Center and Allegheny Campus.

Students completing the training will receive a Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Perinatal Doula (IPD) certification, granted by the MOM organization in partnership with CCAC. The program is open to anyone age 18 or older and, while the curriculum is designed to be accessible to people without a background in health care, the program also provides an opportunity for healthcare professionals to expand their knowledge and skills.

Those interested in the program are invited to attend one of two virtual information sessions scheduled for June 27 and June 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
