WCRIS Professional Learning Conference
This form will help WCRIS make informed decisions about its upcoming Professional Learning Conference (PLC). WCRIS hosts an annual PLC for private school teachers in the Wisconsin Dells. After several requests from principals to bring the 2020 WCRIS Leadership Conference keynote speaker (Dr. Lori Desautels) back for teachers, we would like feedback from principals on their interest in providing this content, and on their level of potential engagement, should we bring her back this Fall.

Dr. Lori Desautels presented a keynote and two part workshop at the WCRIS Leadership Conference on March 6. She speaks on neurobiology, teaching using brain science, and the effects of trauma and how to use these ideas in concert to create a truly trauma-sensitive school environment and to give teachers the tools they need to seamlessly incorporate these strategies in their classrooms to affect student behavior outcomes.
