UPDATE: The in-person full day/full week opportunities are now closed. You can only select the YMCA or TRPR or sign up for a small learning pod with other parents. If these options do not work for you, you can email your child's principal immediately. Thank you!
The Weld RE-5J School District will provide a full day opportunity for elementary students and a full week opportunity for middle school students based on the following priorities: essential workers, single parents who are working, parents who both work and have no other available options for child care. If you are able to have your child at home with you during remote learning, please save the spaces available for our priority families. We can contact you, though, if you are interested in a full day/full week instructional experience if the spots are not filled. Please indicate that in the additional comments at the end.
We also are collecting information about parents hosting and/or participating in a "POD" learning experience. This is where you would host and/or participate in having your child carpool to school, going to houses in the neighborhood for online learning, etc. This would take the pressure off parents who need to work as well and cannot find supervision for their child(ren) during the Phase 3 of instruction.
These options are not for KQA at this time. Please contact the KQA staff for further options for your child.
If you have a child attending RHS and need additional support during the week, please email
listen@weldre5j.org and we can connect you with the Boys and Girls Club, TRPR, and the YMCA.
If our district serves more than one child in your family, please fill out this form for each child. Thank you.
