You are receiving this invitation as an administrator serving English Learners and their families. The NYC RBERN cordially is inviting you to a series of informal chats and conversations with colleagues in areas identified by NYC RBERN administrator’s surveys.

The ELL Leadership Focus Group main objective is to provide a forum for school leaders to reflect on the effectiveness of their English Learner programs and services during these stressful times. In an atmosphere of collegiality and support, they will revisit their mission and vision for English Learners, use the SWOT analysis to structure their ideas and develop an action plan for an effective transition back to school for English Learners after the pandemic, and responsive school structures for English Learner success.
AUDIENCE: Principals and assistant principals responsible for planning and coordinating programs for English Learners and their families.

(In order to provide continuity of conversations participants must register for all 3 sessions to complete the series. The 4th session is optional for additional CTLE credits and to assist with Action Plans for September of 2021.)
