STEM Discover Night with Naperville D203

Thursday March 26th, STEM Discovery Night at Meadow Glens Elementary School is an open house of hands-on exhibits and activities for Grades K-8.

AIA Northeast Illinois is looking for 2 Volunteers to help run our exhibit.

Setup: 4:30pm
Exhibition Open: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

SCARCE 14TH Annual Sustainability Design Challenge

Tuesday April 21st, the Sustainable Design Challenge encourages students to construct building and landscape models using environmental and water-friendly design practices.

AIA Northeast Illinois is looking for 2 volunteers to serve as judges for the design competition and/or run the AIA NEI booth as their career expo and answer questions about what it means to be a member of the architecture profession.

Judging occurs from 8:30am - 11:30am

Career Expo occurs from 11:30am - 2:00pm

STEMCON at College of Dupage

Saturday April 25th

STEMCON is a public outreach event designed to inspire and educate K-12 students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This family-friendly event encourages scientific discovery through hands-on activities and demonstrations while providing the opportunity to learn about scientific careers from actual researcher, industry representatives, and STEM educators.

AIA Northeast Illinois is looking for 6 volunteers to help run our booth during the expo.

Morning Shift: 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (including setup)

Lunch Shift: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Afternoon Shift: 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m (including cleanup)
