Creative Writing With E - May 16, 23, 30, June 6, 13

Join local author, teacher, and friend of Perceptions Elisabeth Hegmann for a creative writing class for adults. Creative Writing with E will meet once a week for 5 weeks upstairs at Perceptions in Vernon on Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 pm. This class will focus on the steps of story writing from beginning to end so participants will end with a finished work of fiction or nonfiction. Participants need not have participated in the first series to join this class. The suggested donation is $40 - $50 for the series ($10 per class).

The class begins Thursday, May 16th and will continue to meet every Thursday for five consecutive weeks with the last class of the series on June 13th.

Elisabeth has a B.A. in writing from Indiana University and an M.F.A. in fiction from North Carolina State University. She is the author of Modus Perfectus, a collection of interrelated, musically themed short stories, and has written numerous slipstream stories and novellas, as well as librettos for musical stage works. Her work has been published in a variety of journals, produced on regional stages, and won several small awards.
