MACURH Standards Program
The MACURH Standards Program recognizes individual members within the region who demonstrate a commitment to the MACURH Standards by completing a series of reflections showcasing how their involvement within their on campus residential housing organizations, MACURH, and NACURH have impacted their daily lives.

Please utilize this form to apply for your experience credit (EC) by writing a 300 word reflection and submitting it to the MACURH Associate Director for NRHH.

After completing one reflection for each standard (totaling five ECs), you will be awarded with the MACURH Standards Pin.

Reflections can be completed over the following topics.

  1. Leadership

    1. Serve in a leadership role on campus (hall council, RHA, NRHH, etc.), MACURH, or NACURH.

    2. Help facilitate or organize a program on campus.

    3. Partner with another on-campus organization for a program.

    4. Develop and present a presentation at a NACURH affiliated conference or at a campus RHA/NRHH meeting.

    5. Engage in any other campus, MACURH, or NACURH-related activity which demonstrates leadership

  2. Education

    1. Attend an educational session at a NACURH affiliated conference.

    2. Facilitate an educational session at a NACURH affiliated conference

    3. Participate in a regional or NACURH case study competition.

    4. Attend a MACURH special chat, NACURH webinar, etc.

    5. Engage in any other campus, MACURH, or NACURH-related activity which demonstrates education

  3. Growth

    1. Write a piece of legislation at the campus, regional, or NACURH level.

    2. Present an educational session with an individual not from your own institution.

    3. Reflect on an interview or presentation you did in order to receive the role you are in now.

    4. Reflect on the growth you have experienced in a leadership role you have held on your campus for at least three months. What advice would you have wanted when you started the role? What have you learned?

    5. Engage in any other campus, MACURH, or NACURH-related activity which demonstrates growth

  4. Family

    1. Participate in the Campus Connections program.

    2. Write an award bid at the regional or NACURH level.

    3. Participate in a MACURH spirit initiative or competition.

    4. Submit a nomination to the FARM or NACURH Advancement Society.

    5. Engage in any other campus, MACURH, or NACURH-related activity which demonstrates family

  5. Tradition

    1. Write a qualifying OTM at the campus level.

    2. Participate in a MACURH or NACURH task force or committee.

    3. Participate in a MACURH RBD on Campus presentation.

    4. Teach someone about MACURH and how to get involved.

    5. Engage in any other campus, MACURH, or NACURH-related activity which demonstrates tradition
