TAO-Pilipinas is a women-led, non-government organization of technical professionals working with the urban and rural poor in the physical planning, development and management of their communities. TAO also develops publications to build awareness, guide community actions, and share learning on sustainable human settlements development. Our most recent books, TAO-Pilipinas: architects in the margins and Battling Waves, document our technical assistance work towards shaping sustainable settlements through participatory planning and design.
