MIT ITEC (Individualized Tutoring for English and Citizenship) is a cost-free virtual 1-on-1 tutoring service where MIT tutors help you practice conversational English and prepare for the U.S. citizenship interview and exam. We also offer a weekly 1-hour virtual zoom meeting ("drop-in hours'") where you can drop in to practice English with a native English speaker or ask questions about the U.S. citizenship exam.

If you are interested in 1-on-1 tutoring, it is expected that you will meet with your tutor once a week starting on the week of 3/11 until 5/6.

If you are interested in receiving tutoring or attending drop-in hours, please fill this form out. We will prioritize matching to tutors based on need and will have a waiting list for those who we are unable to match. In September, we will send an email with a confirmation of your participation in our program with start dates and your tutor’s contact information.

Registration deadline is February 20th, 2024.
