Join the Workers Circle on Saturday, August 26, 2023 for the
March on Washington, in Washington, D.C. On the 60th anniversary of the original March on Washington, we know that the fight for democracy and human equality in this country is far from over.
We will gather at the Smithsonian Metro Station (Blue/Orange/Silver lines), SW corner 12th St. & Independence Ave., SW, Washington, DC 20024, at 11:30AM - at the metro entrance that faces the National Mall --for snacks and community building with our partners at the League of Women Voters.
The march steps off from the Lincoln Memorial around 1:00PM and will conclude at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial at approximately 3pm. Activists of all ages are welcome and will receive a free Workers Circle T-shirt (if you register by 3pm Friday 8/25).
