Frictions
Many interactions are designed so they are less effortful for users. Frictions in interactions do the opposite, yielding a variety of different effects on behaviour. These questions are intended to get you thinking about important aspects of frictions.
Do you have an example of a good friction in an interaction? (What's important is what *you* think a good example is.)
How do you think introducing frictions can change the way people interact with technology?
Do you think that frictions designed or engineered into interactions have any common features?
I'm happy for these comments to be shared in the SIG session itself.
