4-H project grants are available to all Jackson County 4-H projects (countywide basis) that would like to apply. Funds will be used from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.
Applications must be submitted via this form to the 4-H Parents and Leaders Executive Board by the second Monday (MAY 9, 2022), a week before the 4-H Parents and Leaders Meeting.
They will be reviewed at the May 4-H Parents and Leaders meeting to prepare for next year’s budget/funding cycle. Historically the Parents and Leaders board does not support funding awards and trophies for events, and it is encouraged that projects fundraise and keep these items if desired. The Parents and Leaders board offers project grants to further education.
1. Only one grant per project will be awarded.
2. Proposals should have an educational purpose.
Examples include but are not limited to: equipment, field trips, camp, group learning session, volunteer
development.
3. Recipient groups must report back about the activities supported by the grant funds before the end of the fiscal year.
What was your proposal? What were you hoping to accomplish?
Who were your partners?
What unexpected things happened?
Did you accomplish what you intended? How do you know? Do you have any data you can share?
What are the next steps? How will you keep the momentum going?
Please consider attending the May 16th, 2022 Parent and Leader Meeting (6 PM Extension Office or Zoom) as we review your grant application.
