Accident Waiver for Endure and Release of Liability, Name and Likeness
All participants acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions of participation in the registered endurance event.
I, the named participant (registrant) hereby waive any claim, right of claim, cause of any action which might arise out of loss of my life or injury, illness, damage or loss of any description whatsoever which I may suffer or sustain in the course or consequent upon my entry or participation in the event.
I understand the track traverses difficult and hazardous terrain and may expose me to dangerous conditions, and that I am exposing myself to foreseeable and unforeseeable risks including, but not limited to, dehydration, overheating, high humidity, difficult terrain, falls, hazards from vehicles or non participants, getting lost or being injured at a location which may be difficult to reach.
I attest that I am physically fit and medically able to complete the entirety of the course without jeopardising my health or life and that I have considerable trail running experience.
I understand that all medical and/or emergency evacuation costs for participants will be borne by that person or their heirs. The race organisers, volunteers and/or sponsors are in no way liable or responsible for medical costs or emergency evacuation.
I give free and unrestricted permission for the free use of our names, voices, pictures and videos in any promotion or on any other account related to this event or promotion of future events.
I understand that entry fees are non-refundable and not transferable to another event.
All fees must be paid no later than 48 hours after registering for the event. Failure to do so will forfeit your reserved position in the race, and be passed onto the next person/s on the waiting list.
I accept that the event organiser holds the right to modify, postpone or cancel the event at any time at their discretion. The event organiser reserves the right to reject any entry, and further reserves the right to change the details of the above referenced event without prior notice. I hereby release the event organisers, volunteers, staff and any assisting parties fully from all claims related to the above, having diligently read and understood this waiver in it's entirely.
