Volunteers are the fiber that holds our art center together! They assist our director and board in accomplishing many important goals.

As our area's only non-profit community arts center, we depend on volunteers to help us in BIG ways to fulfill our two-fold mission of
1) creating a thriving arts community through education, outreach and opportunities to ensure all people in Walton County have access to the many benefits of the arts
and
2) supporting the vital work of local artists and crafts people in Walton County, creating a beautiful and vibrant community.

Volunteers are much needed and very appreciated! If you have volunteered in the past, we hope you know how crucial your contribution is. We love our volunteers!

We are seeking to build our committees that support our on-going goals. If you are interested in helping us (or continuing to help us) with the important work of sharing the beauty and healing nature of art, please consider filling out this survey and returning it to us. We will funnel your survey, reflecting your interests, to the appropriate committee(s).

Volunteers come in at their convenience. We will do our best to match you to duties that uses your talents & interests, gives your purpose & joy and will introduce you to new friends!

Here is a list of our committees and a very brief description. Do any of these interest you? Check any that you'd like more information about. This is NOT a commitment to serve. *

Assistant to director: assist the director in day-to-day tasks; gallery greeter

Gallery: oversees our Gallery Shows - examples - planning, set-up; installation; de-installation and Show Receptions

Education: teaching or assisting in classes (children or teens or adults or special needs), other examples -- class set-up/stocking supplies

Events: volunteers at events such as Saturday Soiree and other events, put together ART MD kits

Fund-raising: plans and carries out various fund-raising events

Guild: art-specific events, art talks, field trips for all members

Maintenance: clean up; light maintenance; landscape maintenance

Membership: on-going outreach to members; special events

Volunteer: recruitment and training of volunteers, recognition events
