SPOTLIGHT:  Evidence-Informed Whole School Approaches to Behaviour and Pastoral Care 21st March 4pm - 5pm

Spotlight Event: 21st March – Developing an evidence-based approach to supporting a whole school school approach to behaviour and pastoral care

As we navigate the impact of the pandemic, we are pleased to welcome two guest speakers on these critical themes:

Guest Speaker: Laura Stagg, Behaviour Hubs Senior Education Advisor, Education Development Trust
We are excited to welcome Laura Stagg from the Behaviour Hubs team who will be sharing key lessons from the evidence base which underpin their work. Drawn Tom Bennett's 'Creating a Culture: How School Leaders Can Optimise Behaviour', the Behaviour Hubs offer support for schools across the UK with practical strategies and implementation approaches. We delve into key principles which can support us with our pastoral and behaviour approaches in a post-pandemic period.

Guest Speaker: Phil Jones Chair of National Association for Pastoral Care  joins us to explore the impact of the pandemic on pastoral work in schools. As we wrestle with unpicking where to best deploy our sources, Phil explores where pastoral care and personal-social education can support the welfare of students of all ages in schools.
