EXPECTATIONS AND AGREEMENT

1) A Junior Sailor Membership (10-18) is required for EACH Junior Sailor to participate in Regattas. (This membership is different than a non-racing youth included in a Family Membership)

2) $50 per Junior Sailor goes toward covering specialized insurance policy that Pearl Harbor Yacht Club must carry for this sport. This insurance allows us to borrow and transport equipment, to compete with other clubs and to host regattas and clinics at Rainbow Bay Marina.

3) There may be additional fees associated with actual boat and trailer rentals, and regatta or clinic fees.

4) It is expected that Junior Sailors and an Adult Family Member help load, transport and unload boats for regattas and clinics at other locations.

5) Being a Junior Sailor is a privilege and is expected to agree to code of conduct.

6) Sailing is a high risk sport. Risks include but are not limited to illness, injury including concussion, traumatic brain injury or loss of life.
