Dear Parents,
Thank you for considering Lakeview Elementary School’s Preschool Program for your child’s early learning and care. We appreciate your interest in our program.
Preschool at Lakeview Elementary is open Monday through Friday, from 8:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. The preschool program at Lakeview starts 2 days later than the rest of the district, due to home visits. Preschool staff has professional development one Friday a month, therefore there is no preschool on these dates. Dates will be to be determined at a later time and communicated with you upon enrollment. Other than these 2 alternatives, the preschool program follows the school district's schedule.
Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is anticipated to be $250 per month, for 9 months, September through May (the August and June attendance days are included in the 9 monthly payments).
If you are interested in applying for the 2024-2025 school year, please fill out the online application. The deadline for application is Friday, February 2, 2024 by 4:00pm.
We currently have several openings for children to attend preschool starting next fall. All completed applications filled out online by the deadline (Friday, February 2, 2024) will be considered for the open preschool slots. If the program becomes full, we will add your child’s name to a waiting list in the order in which the application was received and will notify you if a spot becomes available.
All parents will be notified on Monday, February 19, 2024 indicating if your child will be in the Lakeview preschool program or will remain on a waiting list. If your child is accepted, you will receive more information regarding the preschool program and how to enroll in Solon Community Schools.
If you need childcare before or after the preschool hours, there is the option of enrolling in BASP (Before and After School Program). There is a separate fee schedule for this program, with varying options depending on the number of days and hours in attendance. This program fills up quickly! To receive this information and/or to enroll in the BASP program, please contact Amber Feaker, BASP director, at 624-3401 x1277.
If you have any questions regarding the application process or our program, please feel free to call the Lakeview Elementary school office, 319-624-3401. We look forward to another exceptional school year in the Lakeview Preschool! We hope to once again provide families with a personal extension of home and family. We look forward to hearing from you!
