AP Computer Science Principles Application
Advanced Placement - Computer Science Principles (APCSP) is designed to introduce students to the central ideas of computing and computer science, to instill ideas and practices of computational thinking, and to have students engage in activities that show how computing and computer science change the world.  


APCSP is a course designed for all students regardless of STEM background or intended college major or career plans.

Course Themes:  Computing Innovation, Internet Systems, Programming, Data, Creativity, Algorithms, and Abstraction

***Please note***

Student Assessment Criteria:  This AP course requires one student produced project along with an AP exam in May.  (The AP grade will be based on the combination of:  roughly 80% of AP Exam score and 20% of Student produced projects.)  

A summer reading assignment with written work will be assigned with intermittent due dates during the summer months.

Seniors will be given preference.   Space is limited!
