I am collecting data to evaluate the safety of Voi scooters and to prevent injuries from occurring due to E-Scooter malfunctions.

Have you ever experienced a Voi E-Scooter slowing down or stopping unexpectedly? In my experience often one scooter would decide to go slow in a regular ride zone or stop, a common annoyance that I came to accept, until I was sat in the hospital for my first surgery.

The accident  I was involved in occurred due to the Voi Scooter halting in an area that was supposed to be a regular ride zone, then suddenly accelerating again throwing me off. I had to undergo surgery to repair torn ligaments and remain off work for months with the chance of my shoulder never being the same again.
