Our speaker is the Administrative Assistant to the District President for Missions, Evangelism, Stewardship, and Human Care. The Rev. Ken Schurb (Ph.D., History, Ohio State) has been a parish pastor, college religion professor, and administrator in The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod at the national level as well as here in CID. He and his wife Lana live here in Springfield. He serves as Book Review Editor for the Concordia Historical Institute Quarterly, and is currently editing a book on theological issues related to the 1974 Concordia Seminary Walkout.

• Registration begins at 6:00pm on Friday, October 14 with Vespers service at 6:15pm
