About CCL

The Center for Creative Learning at IIT Gandhinagar came into being in April 2017, as a space that nurtures scientific temper and the inherent creativity in students and teachers alike. The lab creates toys, models and videos and disseminates information through workshops, publications and research. Having worked with Arvind Gupta, Prof. Manish Jain started this lab to continue that work and ignite the sparks of curiosity for generations of children. Over the last 6 years, we have engaged more than 5 lakh online participants, conducted hands-on STEM learning workshops for over 20,000 teachers & professors, and interacted with more than 50,000 students nationwide. Our online programs have been watched by 2 crore+ viewers and 2.5 lakh subscribers. Today, there are 1000+ toys in the lab. We innovate on content that Inspires and Engages. 

We're looking for full-time Graphic Designers at CCL to lead graphic design efforts across publications, digital platforms (website, app and social media), products and packaging. You may work with a branding agency to develop a cohesive visual style and educate the team on design. We also expect you to manage people and create simple streamlined processes for everyone to use visual assets and ensure long term implementation. 

Responsibilities:

- Design the branding guidelines for web, print (packaging and publications) and videos created at the lab
- Hire and lead interns and make upgrade the level of existing visual design at the lab
- Conceptualise new publications, web pages, product graphics and others

Qualities:

- 2+ year of experience working with teams and enthusiasm to lead multiple types of graphic design
- Interest in working in a lab/research setting and working on scale, for education
- Quality portfolio showcasing multidisciplinary graphic design work
- Graduation in design from a reputed design institute

Salary Range

Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 80,000 depending on quality of work, qualifications and portfolio.
