Dear parent/carer

We know a key concern and worry for our parents & carers is how to keep your children safe online. With this in mind we are holding a workshop delivered by the NSPCC exploring online safety. The workshop will be held at Monk Fryston School on Monday 10th October 2022 at 6-8pm. The session will cover the following topics:

• What children and young people are accessing online
• Concerns you may have
• What the risks are for young people in terms of what they see, do and who they meet online
• How to manage these risks as a parent/carer
• Sources of help and support
• Specific issues that parents of primary age children may be facing, such as online friendships and gaming
