Running Injury Prevention with Carolyn Latham
San Francisco Running Company San Anselmo
August 16th, 6 pm

Are you interested in learning more about how to prevent injuries as opposed to treating them after they come up?

Join SFRC and Doctor of Physical Therapy, Carolyn Latham, on August 16th for an educational talk on how to proactively work towards staying injury-free. Carolyn will discuss how staying injury-free, first and foremost, starts by working on your general posture and body position; improved posture and body position leads to more efficient running and more efficient running means you're less likely to become injured. Then, she will dive deeper into specific injuries that are commonplace with runners and how you can work on preventing them. Carolyn will provide easy and simple exercises and stretches that can be implemented in your own home and education for why they will help you be more efficient and less likely to become injured. An injury-free runner is a happy runner! Let's all work to be HAPPY runners!
