PLEASE READ FIRST!!!

Thanks for applying to compete in our Tap Cancer Out Chicago Sub-Only Showcase taking place on Saturday evening, October 23rd, at the Oak Lawn Pavilion in Oak Lawn, IL.

The Tap Cancer Out Sub-Only Showcase will do just as it says - showcase some of the BJJ talent in Chicago and beyond in a series of superfights. Each match will be submission only with a 3-judge decision if the time ends with no submission. The fighters will be matched by belt, weight, and (as best we can) age. All submissions at the black belt level are legal for all belts (ex: heel hooks in No-Gi only, toe holds, knee bars).

The Showcase is open to adult competitors  (16+) ranked from Blue to Black belt. Higher ranks and previous competitors (particularly fundraisers) will get preference and we will fill the fight card from the top down.

All Sub-Only Showcase Competitors will be required to set up an online fundraising page to support TCO and our 2021 beneficiaries and fundraise a minimum of $400. We are here to help along the way with tips, tricks, and ideas, but if you're not willing to fundraise please do not apply.

Competitors will earn 20% of all ticket sales up to the time of weigh-ins the evening before the event. This can, but is not required to, be added to their fundraising efforts.
