The Gamespace Project is first and foremost about safer social spaces for queer folks. We're focusing our main activities on gaming (cards, boardgames, video games, tabletop roleplay) to help us feel connected, supported and a sense of belonging and safety, and to have fun together!

Roleplay gaming is particularly beneficial due to its social collaboration, problem solving, literacy and numeracy, creative storytelling, safe exploration of ethical/moral problems and of gender expression. It also relieves stress and helps build positive relationships.

Please tell us if any of these interest you (there's room at the end of this survey to share ideas you don't see here.):

Gamespace Project is also focused on improving mental wellness for participants by creating other opportunities like peer support and mental health education. Would you be interested in this? *

You may have heard the phrase, "Nothing about us without us." It's important that this project be led and developed by queer folks who are willing to volunteer some time to assist BRIDGES facilitators to lead conversations, facilitate games and generally play "host."

Would you consider volunteering to help us develop this project by being an occasional activity leader, such as an activity host, tech support (for PC or console gaming,) gamemaster for roleplay games?
