PMA members unite around a common purpose: to help one another meet immediate needs and strengthen our community during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Building on the illustrious history of mutual aid, from the agrarian Diggers to the Black Panthers, we are creating new structures of collective care to accelerate the transition to a better world. Across diverse perspectives and experiences, we hold steadfast to a common belief: Our interdependence is our strength.

PMA participants deliver supplies (food, clothing, furniture, medicine, cash, and more), advocate for rent/utilities relief, provide translation and tutoring services, and offer emotional support to neighbors in need. We often partner with community leaders and local organizations in these endeavors.
