Kilikiti is one of several forms of the game of cricket. Originating in Samoa it spread throughout Polynesia and can now be found around the world in areas with strong Polynesian populations. The game is the national sport of Samoa, and is played in many other Pacific countries, including amongst the Pacific Islander diaspora in New Zealand.
Competition
We are looking at taking a team to compete at the 2023 Auckland Secondary School Tournament on Wednesday the 1st of March.
The tournament is being played at Auckland Domain, Park Road, Grafton.
Fee:
There will be $20 loaded onto your school account when you register. This will need to be paid by the 22nd of February.
Uniform
Students will be provided a red top and lavalava to wear.
These will need to be returned back to the school.
Timings:
We will aim to leave school at 8am to head over to the playing field. Students will need to meet in the back car park by the vans at 7:45am.
There will be a consent form with more information sent out closer to the time.

REFUND POLICY:
In the unlikely event a school trip is cancelled either by the school, a third party, or through extenuating circumstances, WGHS will endeavour to seek a refund of any deposit or full payment paid to an external party (such as flights or accommodation) on behalf of our students. Please note there may be situations where external parties are legally entitled to retain partial or full payment – in the case of a late cancellation, or binding agreement terms, for instance. In these situations, WGHS agrees to recover as much of the cost as practicable, however the school is not liable if a full refund is unattainable.
