The Waterloo Wildfire and Kitchener Wildcats are joining the Santa Claus parade this year!
Come and wave to the 1000s of people at the parade and help promote our sport.
All players are welcome. We also need adult volunteers.
This year the parade starts in Kitchener (Weber at Frederick St.) and ends in Waterloo (Weber at Erb St.).
- When: Saturday, November 19th. 9.30am until 12 noon.
- Where: Drop-off will be close to Centre in the Square (in Kitchener). Pick-up will close to Weber at Erb. (Exact locations will be confirmed closer to the date).
- What to wear: players should wear their jersey and dress for the weather. (e..g., wear your jersey over your winter coat if it's cold).
- What to bring: Players are welcome to bring their ringette sticks. We will have a wagon so players can bring a drink if needed.
- We will provide apples and granola bars (All nut free. With some dairy free options).
- The total walking distance is approximately 3.5km. We walk slowly, but please consider if younger players will be able to walk that far.
- There are no washrooms along the route.
- Players 7yrs and under *MUST* have an adult with them for the duration of the parade.
