This survey is part of an Erasmus+ funded project called 'Assessment in Healthcare EducAtion goes Digital (AHEAD)' # 2021-1-IE01-KA220-VET-000034699. The project aims at enhancing digital assessment in the field of healthcare education across four European countries namely Ireland (Lead) Germany, Georgia and Poland, and across the disciplines of nursing, medicine and allied healthcare. The survey forms the baseline for the 1st project result called 'Co-Creation'.
This is where we ask school-based teachers (lecturers, tutors, etc.), practice-based teachers (clinical teachers / educators / facilitators, mentors, preceptors, etc.) and learners (students, trainees, etc.) about their experiences with digital assessments.
Definition 'digital assessment':
For the purpose of this survey, digital assessment may be the following:
- Assessments which are fully enabled by digital technologies e.g. videos; online discussion etc.
- More traditional assessments which now draw on digital technologies e.g. essays, presentations
- Assessments which have moved online due to Covid-19 e.g. exams, quizzes
