English Society Officer Applications: 2021-2022

Publicist
The publicist develops advertising for English Society events, including posters and digital signage. They also send out updates to the org's email list and manage the English Society website.

Education Chair
The Education Chair is largely a collaborative position, working with the rest of the team regarding organizing upcoming events, performing miscellaneous tasks, and bouncing ideas off of fellow English Society board members. More specifically, the Education Chair is expected to do the majority of the work for most Educational events. In this same vein, the Education Chair should be brainstorming new events that in some way seek to help undergraduates in their educational journey.

Treasurer
Oversees all financial aspects of English Society, including budgeting & budget approval, fundraising, record-keeping, and supply ordering.

Marketing & Outreach Chair will be responsible for creating a public presence for English Society on campus and innovating upon current marketing/promotional strategies. Doing this, they will oversee the English Society social media accounts (we are currently active on Facebook and Instagram, so access to those platforms would be required) and make timely posts about English Society and other related events on campus. They will be the first line of promotion and community outreach, working closely with other members of English Society to increase our presence on campus.
