2021 VOL Year One Leaders Application

VOLthon Year One Leaders is a committee geared towards educating its members on all things Dance Marathon as well as providing leadership development skills that members will use to become Dance Marathon leaders themselves. Members of the VOL committee should be excited to learn more about the Dance Marathon movement and hear from individual directors about the role that they play in creating that successful movement. In addition to assisting in brainstorming for events and campaigns, VOL members will have the opportunity to be promoted to a committee in need. By the end of the year, each member of VOL will be an expert Dance Marathoner with an idea of where they will applying to next year!

As a member of VOL you will be required to:
- Commit 3-5 hours a week to VOLthon (including meetings and other events)
- Attend Full Staff meetings (monthly in the Fall, bi-weekly in the Spring)
- Attend bi-weekly VOL meetings on Thursdays at 6:30pm
- Attend and participate in all major fundraising pushes and events, including Main Event
