The Summer Online Mentoring and Education (SOME) of the Center for Social Justice at Georgetown University program seeks volunteer and FWS-eligible tutors and mentors for eight to ten weeks of online tutoring and mentoring with Washington, DC students in DC Public Schools, immigrant communities, community centers, and other DC community-based partners, including school partners in Wards 7 and 8. In response to the need for additional engagement and support while DC students engage in distance, virtual, or online learning, the SOME program will match GU students with two to four DC youth in homework help, tutoring, mentoring, and other online educational support.
